Information Board at WKNJ Studios

I will be hanging information up in the board right inside the entrance to the studio complex. This will have information on assignments and other aspects of class.

Show Open!

Please make a prerecorded show open. It only needs to be 20 secs or so and you can let the music play a little in the background. You can send it to me as an mp3 after you make it. Just send it to smchugh@kean.edu.

We'll add new sound elements to your shows in the coming weeks.

Equipment Concerns

If you are having problems with any equipment, please let me know. I reccomend getting your own headphones and keeping them in good condition. You can always buy an adapter to plug your mini headphones into the headphone amplifier.

First Shows!

Everyone should have completed their first show by now. Send me a note about how it went and areas you are looking to improve.

Radio Personality Handouts

I've left a few handouts for class at the radio station in CAS 401. They are located in folders in the mailboxes when you enter the studio. Handout topics include, How to Become a Radio Personality, Sample Radio Format, Recap of Week Two class, Sample Rundown/Clock.

Posting Audio MP3's to Blogger

To upload a MP3 to Blogger you need to use a third party website that will provide hosting services.

The quickest and easiest way I've found is by using www.DivShare.com. It's free and easy to sign up.

1. Register for your free account at www.DivShare.com
2. Upload your MP3 to Divshare.
3. Once it uploads you will see the url. Click the "More Options" button and copy
the Embed code and place into your blogger post.
4. Listen to your MP3 on your blog.
